Over this two-day course, you will learn about the magic that is CMYK photographic screenprinting. CMYK screen printing is a process where colours are seperated into cyan, magenta, yellow and black and then layed on top of each other to create a full coloured image. Participants will learn to expose an image of their choice onto a screen using UV light and photographic emulsion. We will be handprinting each colour using four seperate exposed screens. By registering and stacking each colour in the printing process, each participant will produce a small edition. Participants will come away feeling confident to continue their new found photographic screen obsession well into the future.
