Over Five weeks on Friday morning learn how to design and cut a multi colour reduction cut Lino print and multi block coloured prints. Suitable for beginners and for those who have been wanting to give colour printing a try. Each week we will cut and print a different colour. Reduction cutting uses the same piece of Lino to print each colour, reducing the surface/printing area of the block by further carving. Multi block uses a seperate piece of Lino for each colour. Learn about registration methods, use different printing presses to suit your work. This will be a fun way to learn in a professional printmaking studio. Lino, inks and paper supplied. Tools will be available to use in the studio, feel free to bring your own.
